HomeAgain’s mission is to assist homeless families and individuals in metro Richmond by providing emergency and transitional shelter as well as programs designed to build skills leading to increased self-sufficiency and to identify resources needed to obtain and maintain permanent housing.
HomeAgain operates two emergency shelters: the Espigh Family Emergency Shelter (serving single women and women with children) and the Men’s Emergency Shelter. Households are quickly assessed to determine their barriers to permanent housing, and connected to appropriate services to move them from homelessness to safe, affordable permanent housing as quickly as possible.
Or Ami’s Contribution
Different faith communities, including Or Ami, help HomeAgain with the sacred work of feeding men in the emergency shelter. Please be in touch with the head of our Social Action Committee if you would like to donate food for this program.
