Intermediate Hebrew with Rabbi Ahuva

Focus of the class: Learning the basics of the Hebrew root system, prefixes, and suffixes, so that you can understand the meaning of Hebrew words and sentences that you see, whether in a prayer book, Torah reading, or Hebrew newspaper.

Recommended for: Anyone who can already pronounce Hebrew letters and vowels and wants to learn what you are actually saying when you pronounce Hebrew words is welcome to enroll. This class is open to the greater Richmond community, not just Jews or Or Ami members.

Tuition: Only $50 for non-members of Or Ami, with a discounted price of $36 for Or Ami members

Time: Every Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in July and August 2019

Introductory and intermediate level Hebrew classes are offered in the summer of alternating years. Introductory Hebrew was offered in summer 2018, so Intermediate Hebrew will be offered in summer 2019.
